		<description>Bob,

I have &lt;a href="http://andrew-p-jones.com/abandoned/" rel="nofollow"&gt;abandoned&lt;/a&gt; the insomnia eBook.

The course does show you how to set up a blog and write an eBook. Where I feel this course fell down, and not necessarily John's fault, is in promoting it. This may just be that I didn't put enough time into it, but feel that the main problem was that eBay banned eBooks from their site around the time I was starting the course, and at the time I started the course that seemed to be the main path for getting initial interest. That was where I got most of the eBooks I bought anyway. Although John didn't use eBay as a funnel in his course, he was using it himself when he set up his own business. My feeling is that if eBay hadn't banned eBooks then I might have made sales.

I can't really give any useful advice on getting a business off the ground though, since I haven't got one going myself.

So the advice is, if you can afford it and you have a good idea for an eBook that might be in great demand then it's worth a try. It is well put together and it does do what it says - teaching you how to set the thing up. Where things seem to fall down is getting traffic to your site. At that point you just have to keep up the pressure, writing articles etc.

I didn't get a response at that point, and suspect I just didn't put the effort in. One problem with me was that I got a job and haven't had much time, but also had zero response which undermined my motivation. The other thing was, I ran out of things to say about what was a small eBook, and a large and technical subject. Probably I chose the wrong thing to write about.

I hope that helps.

<description>So, honestly, what are you saying about the course Andy? I was considering taking it and would welcome any frank advice.

Thanks
