In Picking a Strategy you decided on what area you were going to concentrate on: eBooks, Affiliate marketing, Pay Per Click etc. So now you need to work out how to address making money in this area.

If this is your first outing into online money making or marketing, then you should probably look for a plan that will lead you through the process step by step: and as soon as you sign up, check that it is indeed laid out in such a way as to do this – does it read clearly, can you understand the instructions. If this is not the case, then you may want to just save yourself time and effort and claim a refund immediately, or at least ask for clarification of how they intend to lead you through the process.

Secondly, run through the manual and materials looking for obvious costs and possible gaps in the instructions – you may have to read around any seeming gaps carefully before getting clarification. Again, if the response is not satisfactory, consider getting a refund and looking elsewhere. Now sit down and go through the materials carefully, noting the different stages and resources required – flow-chart it (or similar), and understand how the different parts of a process interact, what needs doing in what order. If this is a stage by stage training course then the mapping out should already be clear. If it doesn’t make sense, then get clarification – if it doesn’t add up, or seems too good to be true and they can’t explain it (then it probably is too good, and isn’t true): again, consider getting a refund.

So, assuming you’ve found a plan and process that you are reasonably happy to commit to: stick to it, and ignore any further alternatives until you have given your chosen method a proper try. If you are sent details of other plans that seem better, quicker, higher profit routes to riches… put them to one side – save them until you’ve finished setting up the one you have chosen. You don’t have enough time, effort or money to try them all and every plan out there is always a better, quicker, higher profit route than the one before! You might try re-reading the original email or sales page for the plan you are following – maybe you just forgot how great it sounded! Keep your focus, keep your momentum.
